Since 2023, I have worked with the Advancement and Communications office to create content for the School of Human Ecology, including digital campaigns like Fill the Hill and Day of the Badger. Since 2023, our Instagram account has seen a 150% increase in engagement across likes, comments, and shares.
Since the beginning of 2025, I have worked with the School of Human Ecology to enhance its social media presence, with a focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Using data analysis and a strong knowledge of trends, I built a competitive landscape review (peer colleges + major academic brands) to identify content formats resonating with ages 18–22; delivering an audience growth plan and posting playbook.
I have increased a number of important metrics (follower count, reach, impressions, etc) through a “personality‑forward” content pivot. The following semester, I produced all 5 of the top-performing posts on Instagram (likes+views), along with our account having an overall +20% engagement lift.

In addition to helping to manage social media accounts, I also write student experience-based stories for the school, helping to increase visibility and work to manage these stories in different formats (social, web post, newsletter).
Stories I have written have garnered over 50,000 clicks, and have been reused among different channels, from alumni and donor end-of-year letters to weekly e-newsletters sent out to every single student on campus. I have written stories not only expressly for Human Ecology, but for campus partners as well.
